My first concert? Fountains of Wayne when I was seven. When I wasn’t raiding my dad’s record collection growing up (some of my favorites were the Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, and the Ramones), I was attempting to fashion my own guitar with cardboard, some rubber bands, and an assortment of colored markers. Trial and error led me to the conclusion that I preferred to listen and observe music, as opposed to playing it.
As I got older, I developed a fascination with writing that quickly got tied up in my love for rock and roll. I started this website in 2017 with a goal of creating a platform for new music discovery, a place for me to share my original thoughts and photography all while sharing the stories in the arts and music space that I found the most compelling. In time, this site has evolved from a blog to a portfolio, as I branched into contributing words to different publications.
I am a graduate of NYU, where I double majored in Journalism and Media, Culture and Communication. I am currently contributing to The Line of Best Fit, Earmilk, and No Majesty on a freelance basis, in addition to working on contract digital marketing and PR projects in the B2B sector. I am also available to write press releases and artist biographies on a contract basis. Interested? Just click over to my contact page.
